O'Shea's Hotel, Tramore

Noreen and Joe O’Shea are the proud owners of this intimate family-run hotel, celebrating 40 years in business this year.
The hotel has maintained an outstanding reputation for customer care, good food and genuine hospitality. Located by the sea in downtown Tramore, it is the ideal location for corporate, family or leisure breaks. Bedrooms are located in either the main hotel, the annex or the gate lodge.

Room Information

The bedrooms in the main hotel are a mixture of old traditional rooms and new modern rooms. All are en suite and most have wooden floors, all with multichannel TVs and tea/coffee-making facilities.

The annexe is situated directly opposite the main hotel and consists of 12 rooms, mostly family rooms, all with timber floors and light oak furniture. These are bright, airy and modern rooms.

The gate lodge is located at the entrance to the car park. All the rooms here are en suite and larger and quieter than those in the main hotel. They are bright and airy with timber floors and light oak furniture.

Food and Beverage

Located by the sea in the centre of Tramore, this family-run hotel offers good food, comfort and value for money.

Noreen & Joe O'Shea opened their hotel in 1968 and are known for their genuine hospitality. Irish food is served in the Copper Room Restaurant and O'Shea's Bar.

O'Shea's Hotel is ideal for the beach, surfing, landsurfing, the funfair and arcades, golf, fishing, pony trekking and more. Splashworld is minutes away, and offers a discount for guests.

The bedrooms are in 3 separate blocks: the main hotel, the annexe or the gate lodge. If would like a room in a specific area, please mention it when you make your booking.

Secure car parking is available and golfing packages can be organised.

Area Information

Our hotel is located beside the beach, where you can enjoy a stroll to totally relax, or if the sun is shining you can enjoy a swim in the sea. Surfing is very popular in Tramore. Wet suits are available for rent from the local surf shops and schools.

Tramore is also the ideal location for a golfing holiday with Tramore Golf Club only minutes from the hotel. We can organise a complete package for you with tee times and more. Pony trekking can also be arranged and you must visit the famous Waterford Crystal Factory while you are in the area.
